Shipping & Delivery
Standard mainland UK delivery is free. Islands and Highlands postage is charged at cost.  Please allow up to ten working days for delivery.
European delivery can take up to 14 days after being despatched depending on location and local customs authorities. Rest of the World deliveries can take up to 30 days after being despatched depending on location and local customs authorities, and are subject to possible customs clearance and local charges. All international shipping costs are a guide only. Should exact shipping costs vary greatly from the estimate we will contact you before despatch.
Privacy & Security
The Collectors Company Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy and treats all personal information as confidential. We will not disclose your personal details to third parties unless we have your consent or a legal obligation to do so. All data is stored securely and we only use your personal details such as your name, address, email, debit/credit card, product and order details to process your order, administer your account and keep you informed of new products. We use third parties to assist in completing your order, but they only have access to the limited information they need to be able to do this.
Returns & Replacements
The Consumer Contracts Regulations give you the right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of the goods. If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase and want to cancel your order we ask that you contact us, either by email or phone to inform us of your decision. Goods must then be returned to us in mint condition within a further 14 days. Return postage costs will not be refunded and we recommend that you obtain a proof of posting as we can accept no liability for items not received.
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged item please contact us so that we can agree the most suitable course of action with you. This may involve us sending you replacement parts or packaging or you returning the item to us. We will always attempt to provide you with a replacement, but where we are unable to do this we will provide you with a refund for the cost of the item and the cost of postage. Please include your name, address and the reason for return in with the item.
Ordering
We make every effort to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices are correct. However weights, dimensions and colours are approximations only and details/specifications are subject to change by manufacturers. Inclusion on the website does not guarantee that the item is in stock. We offer you the ability to pre-order selected products which are not yet available for sale. These are marked as 'Pre-order'. Placing a pre order does not guarantee that we will be able to supply you. If the supplier allocates the item at the time of it's release we will contact you to advise you if we are unable to fulfill your order. Where release dates are given these are as supplied to us and are a guide only. They are not a guarantee of availibilty. They are subject to change and are entirely out of our control. When you place a pre order we will take your debit/credit details and validate them. Your card will not be charged until the item is in stock and we ship it to you. We will not be liable to any charges incurred as a result of these funds not being available or any other transaction fees from your card issuer or bank. All orders made by you through the website are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or anyone else in those circumastances. After submitting an order to us we will send you an order acknowledgement email with your order number and details of the goods that you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order.  Your order represents an offer to us to purcahse a product. We cannot accept your order until it has been paid for in full (including delivery charges). Once payment has been taken a binding contract between us will exist. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard  and Maestro cards as well as by Paypal. Payment will be debited from your account upon or shortly before despatch. All credit/debit cards are subject to authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will be unable to process your order and cannot be held responsible for any delay or non delivery, or for your bank or card issuer charging you as a result of our processing of your card payment in accordance with your order. All card pyments are processed using Paymentsense.
The prices for goods displayed for sale on the website are as set out on the website. Where additional charges are made for delivery they are clearly displayed. Where an error occurs and an item is mispriced we will contact you and ask whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, products and specifications of products on the website at our discretion at any time. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from the website at any time. We will not be liable to you or to anyone else for the withdrawing goods from the website.
Viewing Orders
You can view your orders at any time, even if you have not created an account. You will need your order number, along with your surname and either your email address or postcode.
Updating Account Information
When you place an order you have the ability to create an account. This is a simple process which will save you time on future orders. It will also give you an easy way to check your order history and current orders. Please note that The Collectors Company Ltd does not store your card details. Your card information is sent directly to Paymentsense for validation. You can login and make changes to your account at any time, but any outstanding orders will not be affected by these changes and so you will need to contacct us  by phone, email or letter to make us aware of these changes. We will only be able to amend details where items have not already been sent. .
